About the Course
Corporate executives that work in non-financial functions like sales and marketing, operations, logistics and supply chain, customer support, strategy and HR usually participate in corporate budgeting exercises. However, their lack of knowledge on the budgeting process or terminology associated with finance proves a big hindrance for them to clearly articulate their viewpoint to the management.
The course is focused on introducing the participants to a jargon free, simple and fun way of understanding corporate finance. The course will help non-finance executives to deepen their understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting process, understanding balance sheets and P&L accounts and empower them to make the right finance related decisions for their companies.
Duration: 10 days.
Topics Covered: Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting, Budgeting and Decision Making Process, Cash Flows and its Relevance to Business, Analyzing Balance Sheet and P& L account, Calculating Cost of Business Activities, Evaluating Financial Viability of Projects.
Location: Currently offered in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.
Course Format: 40% classroom engagement and 60% project-based learning (including peer learning, collaborative learning and practical assignments).
Class size: 20 participants per batch.
